QA Engineer (Automation & AI-Driven Testing)

We are seeking an experienced QA Engineer (Automation & AI-Driven Testing) with 5+ years of experience in modern test automation, API validation, performance testing, and quality engineering practices. The role requires hands-on experience in Selenium with Python, Playwright with TypeScript for modern UI automation, and testing of Flutter-based mobile applications using appropriate Flutter testing frameworks.

The ideal candidate will ensure end-to-end quality across web, mobile, API, cross-browser, and cross-device environments while leveraging AI-powered testing tools and intelligent automation solutions to improve efficiency, coverage, and reliability.

This role also requires strong team leadership capabilities, including mentoring QA engineers and driving QA execution within Agile delivery teams.

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks for web, mobile, API, cross-browser, and cross-device testing
• Build and maintain web automation suites using Selenium with Python.
• Develop modern UI automation frameworks using Playwright with TypeScript.
• Execute automation and functional testing for Flutter-based mobile applications using Flutter integration testing frameworks or Appium-based approaches.
• Ensure cross-browser compatibility testing across Chrome, Firefox, Edge, and Safari.
• Perform cross-device testing across different screen sizes, resolutions, and mobile devices to ensure responsive and consistent user experience.
• Execute end-to-end testing including functional, regression, smoke, sanity, integration, and system testing.
• Conduct API testing and validation using Postman or equivalent tools, including validation of Swagger/OpenAPI specifications.
• Design and execute performance, load, and stress testing using JMeter or similar tools.
• Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines to enable continuous testing and faster release cycles.
• Utilize AI-powered testing tools for test generation, self-healing automation, defect prediction, visual validation, and test optimization.
• Evaluate and adopt modern AI-assisted QA solutions to improve testing efficiency and coverage.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define test strategies, acceptance criteria, and quality benchmarks.
• Identify, log, track, and manage defects using Jira or similar tools, ensuring proper lifecycle tracking and resolution.
• Prepare and maintain QA documentation including test plans, test cases, test scenarios, traceability matrices, and test reports.
• Participate actively in Agile/Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, grooming, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and leadership to junior QA engineers.
• Coordinate and manage QA activities across the team to ensure timely and high-quality delivery.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes, automation frameworks, and quality engineering practices.

• 5+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance and Test Automation.
• Strong hands-on experience in Selenium - Python, Playwright automation using TypeScript.
• Experience in testing Flutter-based mobile applications using Flutter integration testing or Appium.
• Strong understanding of API testing using Postman or similar tools.
• Hands-on experience in validating Swagger/OpenAPI documentation and API contracts.
• Experience in performance testing using JMeter or equivalent tools.
• Strong knowledge of Software Testing Lifecycle (STLC) and Defect Lifecycle Management.
• Experience in designing and maintaining scalable automation frameworks.
• Strong experience in cross-browser testing ensuring compatibility across major browsers.
• Strong experience in cross-device and responsive testing across multiple devices and screen resolutions.
• Proven experience in team coordination, QA execution leadership, and mentoring junior engineers.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and iterative delivery models.
• Experience with Jira, Confluence, Git, and version control systems.
• Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with AI-assisted development and testing tools
• Familiarity with BDD frameworks such as Cucumber or Behave.
