Senior Data Scientist

Beinex is looking for a highly skilled Senior Data Scientist to join our dynamic team in the Middle East. The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 9 years of experience in data science roles. This hands-on position requires proficiency with open-source technologies and other advanced data science tech stacks.

The responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify valuable data sources and streamline collection processes.
• Conducting preprocessing of structured and unstructured data for analysis.
• Analyzing data sets to identify trends and patterns that provide actionable insights for business improvement.
• Developing and implementing machine learning algorithms and predictive models.
• Proposing innovative solutions to address business challenges.
• Working closely with engineering and product development teams to integrate data-driven insights into product offerings.
• Employ statistical and machine learning techniques to analyze data and derive meaningful insights.
• Utilize data visualization techniques and tools to present findings in a clear and concise manner.

• Graduate or Post Graduate Degree in Computer Science/ Data Science or any relevant stream (but not mandatory)
• A minimum of 9 years of overall experience in data science roles, with at least 5 years in the Middle East and 8 years in client-facing positions
• Proficiency in SQL preferred and mandatory hands-on experience in Alteryx and Tableau
• Excellent communication and presentation skills with a consultative mindset
• Must be able to work independently with minimum support from the team or client stakeholders
• Knowledge of the Middle East markets and cultural nuances is preferred but not mandatory.
