Job Description

We are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Associate IT Specialist – Analytics Infrastructure to support the administration, maintenance, and optimization of enterprise BI and analytics platforms, including Tableau Server, Alteryx Server, Daitaku Server, MicroStrategy Server, and Alation. The role involves ensuring system stability, troubleshooting, and collaborating with senior team members to support business analytics needs.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in the installation, configuration, and administration of Tableau Server, Alteryx Server, Daitaku Server, MicroStrategy Server, and Alation
  • Monitor system performance, resource utilization, and server health.
  • Perform routine maintenance, patching, and upgrades under guidance from senior team members.
  • Assist in managing authentication and permissions on analytics platforms.
  • Respond to basic system issues, escalating complex problems to senior administrators.
  • Assist in troubleshooting server performance, connectivity, and application errors.
  • Document common issues and resolution steps for knowledge sharing.
  • Learn and support automation of repetitive tasks using scripting (e.g., PowerShell, Python, or Bash).
  • Support in scheduling jobs, workflow monitoring, and log analysis.
  • Work closely with data analysts, developers, and IT teams to ensure smooth operations.
  • Maintain documentation of configurations, best practices, and troubleshooting steps.
  • Participate in team meetings, providing insights on system performance and improvement areas.
Key Skills & Requirements
  • Basic knowledge of BI/Analytics platforms (Tableau, Alteryx, MicroStrategy, etc.) and Windows/Linux server environments.
  • Familiarity with SQL queries and database connectivity.
  • Exposure to scripting languages (PowerShell, Python, or Bash) is a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
  • Ability to learn and adapt to new technologies.
  • Effective communication skills for working with cross-functional teams.
  • Previous consulting or client-facing experience is a plus.
  • Knowledge and experience in any cloud platform like AWS, GCP, or Azure is preferred but not mandatory.

  • 1-2 years of experience in IT infrastructure, analytics platforms, or server administration.

  • Certifications in Tableau, Alteryx, or Cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure) are a plus but not mandatory
